AIVD has working area of 5000 square meters, of which 3000 square meters of R&D and 2000 square meters production. AIVD has 2 technology centers: diagnostic raw material technical center and diagnostic reagents technical center. The raw material technology center includes the R&D and production of recombinant antigens, antibodies (including nanoantibodies), enzyme and molecular diagnostics. The diagnostic reagent technology center includes ELISA, Colloidal gold and Fluorescence based Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, Immunoturbidimetric and molecular diagnostic platform.
